Q1: ABCD is a rectangular plot of land. If the bearing of the side AB is 75°, the bearing of DC is

A 75°

B 255°

C 105°

D 285°

ANS:A - 75°

Here's the answer.

Bearing of given line=FB of previous line+Included angle.
Then add or deduct 180.
So,
75 + 90(FB of pvs line) + 90(included angle) - 180 = 75. AB 75°.
BC 75+90.
CD 75+90+90.
DC ..CD-180 =75°. Rectangular ABCD.
Bearing of line AB = Bearing of line DC.
75°=75°. This is the case of the rectangle so each BB of each corner would be the same as given 75 (Answer A is correct).
