Of these statements :

A 1, 2 and 3 are correct

B 2, 3 and 4 are correct

C 1, 2 and 4 are correct

D 1, 3 and 4 are correct

ANS:D - 1, 3 and 4 are correct

For the stability of the floating body :

The metacentre must be above the Centre of gravity not centre of buoyancy.
Here option 2 talks about the centre of buoyancy instead of the metacentre so it's wrong.

The correct option is D.
