Bipolar Junction Transistors (BJT)

Q1: In a transistor, collector current is controlled by:

A collector voltage

B base current

C collector resistance

D all of the above

ANS:B - base current

In this base region only few electron's will recombine with holes in the lightly doped base. Then a value of electron's they will flow through the b region. And thus the small change in base current control the much larger collector current.
