Q1:

The reduced bearing of a line is N 87° W. Its whole circle bearing is

A 87°

B 273°

C 93°

D

ANS:B - 273°

It is found in the 4th quadrant because:-0-90 first quadrant,90-180 2nd quadrant,180-270 3rd, quadrant and 270-360 fond in 4th quadrant.

So, 273 is on the fourth quadrant and to find, W.C.B = 360 - 87 = 273. W.C.B=360-R.B (in case of the 4th quadrant),
so,
W.C.B=360-87=273°. It is in 4th quadrant, because it is northwest. North west is at 4th quadrant and it is the clockwise direction it will be 360-87=273.
