  1. The Government's subsidy comes from the money collected by way of taxes from people.
  2. The Government while giving subsidy may have stipulated certain uniform conditions regarding fees.

A Only assumption I is implicit

B Only assumption II is implicit

C Either I or II is implicit

D Neither I nor II is implicit

E Both I and II are implicit

ANS:B - Only assumption II is implicit

Explanation: Nothing about the source of Government's subsidy can be deduced from the statement. So, I is not implicit. However, II follows from the statement and so it is implicit.
