  1. Voluntary organisations do not need such support.
  2. Government was not supporting the voluntary organisations earlier.

A Only assumption I is implicit

B Only assumption II is implicit

C Either I or II is implicit

D Neither I nor II is implicit

E Both I and II are implicit

ANS:B - Only assumption II is implicit

Explanation: Since the Ministry has decided to support the voluntary organisations, it is quite probable that they are in need of it. So, I is not implicit. Further, since the economic package for the voluntary organisations has been announced recently, it can be assumed that no such support was given to them earlier. So, II is implicit.
